PDToolKit eTOD DataStore - GM
This graphics management tool is primarily used to handle terrain data that requires
manipulation or adjusting to the WGS-84 Datum. Many different formats of digital
elevation models can be handled and imported in a variety of different datum’s
and projections. This tool will easily convert your data to WGS-84 and allow it
to be exported to PDToolKit eTOD CAD. The screen shot to the right shows a DTED
Level 1 DEM file being displayed.
The status line as the bottom of the image shows the datum and coordinate system
(UTM) along with the lat/long as the cursor moves over the image.
The second screen shot shows a different type of 3D data obtained from a LIDAR survey
(laser plot) where an aircraft with survey equipment has flown over and mapped the
terrain. This survey data has been imported to display as a coloured image here.
Buildings, roads, fences, power lines and trees (singular or woodland) can be seen
from this image when this is displayed in the PDToolKit eTOD CAD application. The
placement of eTOD obstacles (Point, Line or Polygon) can be overlaid easily by the
user.

PDToolKit eTOD DataStore does not include the CAD software; one of the following
CAD applications is required: AutoCAD MAP 3D 2008, AutoCAD MAP 3D 2009, Bentley
MicroStation MAP, for other CAD software please contact ASD.
