DataManager is a flexible standalone tool to assist in the data handling workflow around procedure design.
DataManager allows the user to query data housed in many standard aviation formats including ASD own procedure design database (AeroDataStore). Data can be queried to return all records which then can be filtered to reduce the dataset for optimal data loads into the procedure. DataManager has a multiple document interface (MDI), seen here, giving the user 3 tabs (Query, Features and Map). Query tab defines the datasource and any query filters to be applied to the data and the Feature tab shows the results in a tabulated grid.
The final tab shows a map with the queried data overlaid, the users has a choice of Google Earth, Microsoft Bing or Cesium as a background map viewing. Further details are displayed in a balloon style pop up when the user clicks a feature.
DataManager is the interface to AeroDataStore giving the user the ability store procedure design data with a standard CRUD (Create, Retrieve, Update and Delete) feature set.
