Julian Murfitt

Julian is the Sales and Marketing Director of ASD with over 20 years of experience in the aviation industry, providing many solutions for AIS offices worldwide. He worked closely with EuroControl on the EAD project and was involved in several early adopters of the electronic AIP. On a personal level, Julian is a keen GA aviator, a past member of the British Advanced Aerobatic Team, and twice as British Advanced Aerobatic Champion.

Paul Barden

Paul leads the software development team with a passion that began in the early eighties when he first encountered a Sinclair Spectrum. His fascination with computer programming has driven his career ever since. Early on, Paul contributed to projects for the UK Ministry of Defense at the Admiralty Research Establishment in Portsmouth and spent a year at the Eurocontrol Experimental Centre in Bretigny, working on the PRODAT ADS project. His career path then took him to a European telecommunications company, where he gained experience in GIS for optical fiber cable planning. In 2011, Paul returned to the aviation industry by joining ASD. Outside of work, Paul enjoys exploring all things technical, engaging in photography, and rifle shooting.

Aleksandar Najdenovski

Aleksandar has dedicated over 30 years to aeronautical information and procedure design. Educated at Bailbrook College in the UK, he started in 1994 as an AIP Editor for the Civil Aviation Authority, advancing to AIS Officer and PANS OPS Designer. In 2000, Eurocontrol engaged him as an AIS Expert, and he later contributed to ASD Ltd., helping create the PDToolkit software. Since 2006, he’s been a key figure at ANSP M-NAV, shaping aviation safety standards. Outside work, Aleksandar’s hobbies include skiing, tennis, and environmental projects.

Sasho Bojchin

Sasho has spent over 30 years advancing aeronautical information and procedure design. Educated at Bailbrook College, he began as a NOTAM and ARO/Briefing Officer in 1994, before advancing to AIS Officer and PANS OPS Designer. He joined Eurocontrol in 2000 and later joined ASD Ltd., co-developing the PDToolkit software. 

Since 2006, he has played a key role at ANSP M-NAV. In addition to lecturing, he has championed projects ranging from GIS standards to aerodrome safety tools. A national parachuting champion and adventure enthusiast, Sasho balances innovation in aviation with a passion for sports and learning.

Dean Dalzell

Dean is the domain specialist who is responsible for the criteria development, training and operational support of the product. Dean has a lifetime of experience in aviation, commencing as an Air Traffic Controller some 42 years ago followed by senior management experience. The last 20 years of a varied career represents some 20 years experience as an instructor covering ATC, AIS, Charting and AIP production, aerodrome safety services, safety management and of course instrument procedures design. Dean brings this solid aviation experience and expertise to the company underpinning our competitive and technical excellence.
